Joshua Samuel Brown
American-born Expatriate and USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism fellow Joshua Samuel Brown has lived in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China since 1994. A prolific traveler and writer, his features have appeared in an eclectic variety of publications around the globe, including the South China Morning Post, Business Traveller Asia, Clamor Magazine and Cat Fancy. To date, Joshua has co-authored four travel guides for Lonely Planet (Taiwan 7, Belize 3, Singapore 8 and Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos & the Greater Mekong 2) and one for Fodor’s (China 2007). Joshua’s debut book, ‘Vignettes of Taiwan,’ offers tales of betel nut beauties and how to avoid jail time by impersonating a Mormon; VOT is available at bookstores in Taiwan, through Amazon, and through his website.
